High School Graduation Shooting Leaves ‘Multiple Victims’

Two people have been shot at a graduation event in Oakland, California.

Emergency services attended Skyline High School at around 7:45 p.m. on Thursday evening after reports of two people injured by gunfire in a parking lot.

Two people have been taken to hospital and are understood to be in a stable condition.

The Oakland Police Department said on X, formerly Twitter, that it “is investigating a shooting with multiple victims. The shooting occurred just before 7.45 p.m. in the 12200 block of Skyline Boulevard.”

It added: “When officers arrived, they located two victims suffering from gunshot wounds.”
