Groom Praised After Reaction to Bride’s Emergency on Wedding Day
A social media video of a groom “saving” his and his wife-to-be’s wedding day by rapidly responding to a hair and makeup emergency has delighted audiences across the internet.
The viral video, which has been viewed by more than 1.2 million TikTokers since it was first shared to the platform on September 7, gave viewers a sneak peak inside content creator Maddie Henderson’s wedding.
Henderson, who goes by @MaddieHen on TikTok, had revealed in the post that she’d forgotten to paint her toes ahead of her big day.
Fortunately, her soon-to-be husband managed to save the day by sourcing Henderson’s mom’s nail polish so that the bride could walk down the aisle with freshly pedicured toes.
“When it’s your wedding day and you forget to paint your toes, so your fiancé immediately asks your mom where the nail polish is,” Henderson wrote across the post, while viewers were shown an adorable clip of the groom painting Henderson’s toenails ahead of their wedding.
“He had no idea but he did amazing,” she wrote in a caption under the post.
The TikTok post plays against the track “I’m Just Ken,” from the Barbie movie.
The pair had held their wedding in Utah and Henderson had shared plenty of content from their special day, including their wedding photos and rehearsal bloopers, onto TikTok where each post has been viewed over 100,000 times.
What Do the Comments Say?
Since it was shared to the social media platform on September 7 by @MaddieHen, the TikTok post has been liked by over 64,000 users and commented on numerous times. Plenty of Henderson’s fans, friends and followers have gushed over the sweet moment in the post’s comments section.
“When they truly love you, they’ll do anything to make your life better. You deserve nothing less,” one user wrote.
Another user added: “Happy for you.”
A third user commented: “Good stuff Matt.”
“I feel an immense sense of joy when I see this,” shared a different TikToker.
Another user joked: “I mean this in the nicest way possible but how do you forget to have a mani pedi for the most important day of your life.”
